Sustainable and Responsible Tourism

Karpos participates in the new ECO Hosting project with the co-financing of Erasmus+ of the EU. The ECO Hosting.net project aims to contribute to reducing the environmental impact of tourism in European natural areas. Our organization through video and using image and sound as tools to help better understand and promote the project’'s material and results.
The project responds to the needs for awareness, training and technical support of the tourism sector on the issue of the environment.
Our partners are agencies from France - SUD CONCEPT- Italy - Molise - Portugal - Aidlearn - and Greece - Μεσογειακό Κέντρο Περιβάλλοντος- with years of experience in the field of sustainable tourism and environmental protection.
Part of the project is the creation of a video platform for Tourism Professionals and Visitors and will contain 7 chapters on environmental topics that will give practical advice.
For Tourism Professionals: Chapters dedicated to sustainability practices and suggestions for low-cost ecological practices.
For visitors: Practical advice on how we as visitors/tourists can help with our behavior for a more environmentally friendly tourism.
Karpo's role in the project is to produce the videos for some of the proposed solutions. Educational videos for professionals and humorous ones for visitors.
